Trip to Bend before camp

I drove to Bend the weekend before our summer camp to pick up my little sister and our friend Kaitlyn Morrison. Those pictures will be coming soon, but here's some from the weekend before.

This is the interesting part of the drive

The Oasis in Juntura. A great little spot, but I could totally picture Stephen King writing a book about this place

Lovely Ladies!

During our walk downtown, we happened upon some ballerina karate chops and shadow dancing! Two very necessary things!

It took a long time to persuade them that it wasn't Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, but in fact Goody's Ice Cream Parlor. That was an awkward moment or two for both the customers and the staff in the shoppe.

But we made it out alive! Erika is such a non-conformist. Nico and I totally caved

What's a trip to Bend if it doesn't include non-warranted harassment from Nicolette? Yeah, she poured water down my back... for no reason.

She must've wanted me to shove my ice cream cone in her face. That's what I thought at the time, anyway.

At some point, we decided to make peace and watch the beauty that is Bend

Then, we walked by my favorite house in Bend

And their creepy Narnia yard

Later, I got to go see The Dark Knight with my little sister. So rad.
